Sam told the Daily Star Sunday that he regularly enjoyed nights of sex with fans during his time on the soap.
He is quoted as saying: “I’d go to nightclubs and there were always loads of dolly birds hanging around looking for fun – and I had lots of fun. But girls still called me Adam half the time. It’s weird when the girl shouts out your character’s name in bed. It’s also an easy excuse to kick them out on the street and not have to pay for dinner though!”
He added: “There were groupies at Corrie. They hung around outside the set. They were nice but kind of odd."
What a charming man.

How unpleasant he sounds. Perhaps if he'd spent less time in nightclubs and more time improving his acting skills he'd still be in Coronation Street now, instead of being thrown out the Big Brother house.
Why is this grinning idiot even being given a mention on this board? especially as you refused to mention Helen Flanaghan's stint in the Jungle.
When Adam Barlow inevitably returns to Corrie (despite the fact he hasn't been mentioned for years, even in passing, by his loving uncle Peter or grandfather Ken) I confidently predict the role will be re-cast. Sam Robertson's lacklustre portrayal of the character illustrated all too clearly the dangers of casting on the basis of looks rather than talent. Come to think of it, even his looks didn't last once he started experimenting with those dodgy haircuts:(
Does he not read the papers? He has just made himself a target for allegations of harassment or worse. Very stupid to behave in that way and then to brag about it.
"Dolly birds"??? Do people actually still say that??

It would've been better if he'd visited the barber shop instead of sleeping around! His current hairstyle is questionable!
Happens all the time..didn't Bill Roach come out and say just the same thing a few months back? He shagged more women on and off the set than you can shake a stick at..no wonder he never tried to move on with his acting career. He had it made in the shade!!
I always thought he was totally obnoxious, and one of the worst actors they ever hired. Now I am sure of it. Like Adam Rickitt before him, some of the skin pics he posed for were cringeworthy and ridiculous.
Yes JB, I thought exactly the same. What young guy uses the phrase "dolly birds" these days? The "interview" sounds like a rejected script from a 70s Carry On Film.
The only thing this idiot will be remembered for is the worst haircut in Corrie history! Combined with unbearable arrogance and atrocious acting skills, please return under the rock from which you slithered.
Actors like this might do well to remember that without fans, they'd have no career. Oh wait, how's his career doing? Right.
In a silver-lining kinda way, ladies - take note that fans should know when to draw the line, as actors clearly may not. You may also want to get yerself tested. Ew.
Remember what happened to Jack P Shepherd... Why, why, why are these actors (or not) so stupid?
...there are groupies for Corrie?
