CBC, Coronation Street's Canadian broadcast station, in its infinite "wisdom", is messing around with its schedule starting August 31.
They'll be broadcasting a 90 minute supper-hour news marathon starting at 5pm in all local time zones and Coronation Street is going to be pushed up to a 6:30pm start, instead of its current 7:00pm slot. Heads up for those of you that watch or record it. The Sunday morning omnibus is not changing as far as we know.

lol. That darn CBC, always interrupting scheduled programming!
The good thing about the change is that *maybe* it won't get moved so much when there are spoting events.
I record it anyway so I can watch during dinner. Its my 'me' time of the day :)
90 minutes of news at night sounds gruesome.
I just watch it online anyways. The episodes get posted after the Sunday omnibus. Now that doesn't change!
I usually just watch the Sunday omnibus addition but now I may actually watch it some evenings as well.
If you have a PVR it should catch the timeslot change automatically (at least, ours does).
I tape it on Sunday Mornings. Do they NOT realize how Corrie is important to all of us to NOT play around with time changes????
