On Weatherfield.net, there's a video of Megan is being milkshaked in the street. Could've been worse. Ben bemoans Will's fate: "He may never go back to athletics again! He had so much talent". From what we've seen of Will running, it's probably a good idea to jack it in. Anyway, Will takes umbrage at what Eva and Ben are saying about him, and decides to swig a bottle of voddy above the builders yard. At 16 I think he'd puke before he got half way through it. But Maggie gives him a pep talk and he agrees to come down. Little do they know that they're being watched by Megan and she approaches Will in the pub ginnel. He runs (not very quickly) away from her.
Todd is still not talking to George and when he finds out that Summer is a) being charged for murder and b) denied bail, he says he's moving out of number 11 and into Sarah's, despite Bethany's dislike of this idea.
We see Jodie's evil plan bearing fruit as she looks at the reactions to her online trolling, and Daniel says that Bertie is being bullied because of his involvement with Megan.
Sam verbally attacks Will, the real one, not the shadowy one in Sam's brain, although he does chat to Conspiracy Roy (actual Roy isn't in this episode).
I am starting to get a little bit bored of the fallout from murder week. Excepting Carl, all the stories recently have featured the Driscolls (Megan/Maggie), Todd and the Shuttleworths (Theo), and the Platts/Osbourne-Barlows (Jodie). It feels like much of the cast is being neglected - we haven't seen Dev in ages, Adam is only every murder suspect's brief. The Baileys - apart from Ronnie - haven’t had a storyline in yonks and the extended Stape-Dobbs-Battersby-Brown-Winter family are mostly absent, not to mention Audrey, Brian, Evelyn and Rita.
Whilst I like the Driscolls and I was pleased that Eva was retuning, it feels like there's been a lot of them and Ms Price has been reduced to merely being a supportive partner and step-mum, rather than having any storylines of her own. I imagine Cath Tyldesley wanted a slightly different path for Eva but I hope she gets sommat else to do in the future.
In other news, Dylan and Brunette Betsy do a trial shift in Speed Daal. I hope they're both being paid for this, Miss Leanne.
