It's the first Monday of May but actually it's still Thursday 23rd April, a bit like during the pandemic when ITV were showing the Easter episodes in June.
ITV has released a list of suspects for the new whodunnit (see above) and Todd, George, Summer and Christina (also Mary & Glenda but we can rule those 2 out) sit around at number 11 and answer questions from Kit. The only thing we know for sure is that Parbold's (not Rest Easy) will be burying Theo. I think a stake through the heart and buried under the cobbles outside the Rovers would be better, non? I did call it re: Theo a few weeks ago, so I am going to go with George as the killer because he changed his jumper (hiding blood stains?), going from light to dark, and because I think George is a more disposable character. However, another character turns up: Danielle, dressed funereally in black widow garb, leaving flowers but looking grim.
Todd isn't dealing well, not knowing how to react to the news, then having a go at the Battersbabes in the pub for gossiping. He's lost both his husband and his mortal enemy.
The other storylines from Murder Week carry on - Carl is in hospital, watched over by Debs, Maggie is also in hospital, visited by Ben, and the police turn up to talk to the Platts about the disappearance of Jodie, although Shona doesn't tell the cops about the men from Emmerdale or the flash drive. No sign of Megan. Maybe she's gone off to become a Scout leader.
