Where have you seen the Corrie Registrar before?

Lots of comments left here on the Coronation Street Blog and on our twitter @corostreetblog are asking where we've seen the Registrar before who presided over Rita and Dennis' wedding.

Well, the character is Jenny Reece and she's played by actress Blue Merrick.  She's acted as Registrar for at least five other Coronation Street wedding and with thanks to Corriepedia, these are as follows:

Roy and Tracy Barlow in 2003; Ken and Deirdre Barlow in 2005; Jason Grimshaw and Sarah Platt in 2006; Liz McDonald and Vernon Tomlin in December 2007 and John Stape and Fiz Brown in 2009.

And according to Blue Merrick's IMDB profile, she also presided over the 2011 wedding of David and Kylie Platt.
