Our blogger Ryan, who is on Twitter at @rybazoxo, met and interviewed all of the new Coronation Street cast members who are playing the new Bailey family.
Here in a short blog post are details of each family member, one by one.
Secondly, we have with the matriach of the family, Aggie Bailey.
The Matriarch of the clan is Aggie. Pharmacy assistant Aggie is friendly, fun and outrageous in equal measure.
Played by ex 'Doctors' actress Lorna Laidlaw, she will probably be familiar to a lot of soap fans. Lorna did tell us that Aggie is completely different to 'Mrs Tembe' (whom she played for 8 years) and relishes the thought of joining the iconic cobbles.
Aggie is a fiercely protective mum and Corrie producer Iain MacLeod promised us that she will be great friends with Liz and Eileen. I look forward to Friday nights in the Rovers (always my fave) with the ladies drinking red wine and putting the world to rights.

I actually laughed at Corrie for the first time in ages when Aggie said to Michael something like ' not you, your body's a temple' when he reached for a choux bun. Great timing, I'm looking forward to seeing more of Aggie.
ReplyDeleteSorry, made a mistake it was James she said it to.
