If you're wondering where you've seen Dan, Dan, the Brewery Man on Coronation Street before then wonder no more.
Dan is played by actor Andrew Paul, who played PC Dave Quinnan in The Bill. He's also appeared on stage and on TV in many productions. You can find out all about them at his Spotlight CV.
Although Andrew Paul looks a lot like him, Jane Danson, who plays Leanne Battersby, confirmed on twitter that he isn't her husband Robert Beck!
Robert played the role of Jimmy Dockerson in Corrie, one of Tony Gordon's henchmen.

I liked Dan, I hope they keep him as a genuinely nice guy and don't turn him into some kind of psycho, bully or love-rat.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I want to see Liz & Jim back together eventually, I hope she has some happier times with Dan, and I also hope he's here for the long haul.
Oh and PS, I don't think Andrew Paul looks anything like Robert Beck!
