Coronation Street Episode Review Monday 4th November

Coronation Street's Kit Green star says it's 'just the beginning' as he 'hits nerve' with DS Lisa Swain - Manchester Evening News

The ongoing Who Killed Joel story rumbles on into its 87th week with Kit as the new suspect. TBH, since poundshop Patrick Bateman was found in the Irwell, I've lost a bit of interest. Good riddance to teenage groomer rubbish. When we get the ultimate flashback episode, I'll be on it, but until then, all these teasers are a bit redundant. Kit quizzes Swain on her whereabouts after a threatening text to Joel is found on her phone, but she denies it all. She's having a sh*t day but then Carla buys her some festival tickets and they get platonically smoochy.

Talking of Kit, Daisy, who seems to be becoming a mixture of Sarah Ferguson in the '80s and Princess Anne in the '70s, quizzes Kit about his quizzing of Ryan about her and then about a missing whisky bottle. If she and Kit do get together, Charlotte Jordan is going to have to stand on at least four boxes to snog him.

Coronation Street star explains Billy's big Todd revelation in sad scenes

Billy the terrible vicar is now becoming Billy the bad counsellor as he decides that everyone is doing grief wrong. Billy just needs to get down Canal Street or at least back on the skag. If I were Billy, I'd take advantage of whatever vicarship comes up, even if it were in Worksop, to get away from his mother in law. Summer comes home to find a strange man in the flat, who turns out to be someone from the Dog and Gun whom Billy knows from an addiction group. Some day that pub is going to be pulled down or turned into a hipster craft beer and vegan junk food place and it won't be able to be used as a cypher any more. Anyway, the man cons Billy into getting him some food whilst he steals Summer's laptop and Paul's ashes.

Yasmeen persuades Sally to donate unwanted tins and packets to Yasmeen's food charity by telling her that the Mayor is visiting Speed Daal for a photo opportunity. Unwanted because they have a muesli loving rodent at number 4 and Sally doesn't want nibbled food. Whilst going on a mouse hunt, they find Mason's rucksack in the garden shed.

Bethany has an appointment with the stoma nurse and a whole lot of attitude when Daniel tells the nurse that Bethany hasn't been coping well. The nurse offers a leaflet and a group. Perhaps Bethany will need to go on a stoma support group retreat for 9 months?

David offers a place to stay to Lauren and little Frankie, wherever the Platts fetch up when Gail has sold the house. All back to Grasmere Drive?
