Bethany and Daniel - Yay or Nay?

In the previews for next week's Coronation Street, it turns out there's going to be a kiss shared between Bethany and Daniel.

Meanwhile Sinead doesn't know what's going on.

But what do you think about Bethany and Daniel getting together? I think it stinks, but... it's in character for Daniel.

Never forget that he's Ken "the stud" Barlow's son after all, and therefore he's set to become the womaniser of Weatherfield.

Looks like it's starting right now.

  1. It just doesn't seem like something he'd do after being so scared for Sinead's life and I thought he detested Ken's philandering.

  2. Jeanie: Tacky story line. And so out of character for both Daniel and Bethany. Just because he's Ken's son doesn't mean he has to be a womanizer!

  3. Nope..don't like it at all. Daniel and Sinead are good together and I do not see him cheating on her. But yes, it is in character for Daniel..remember.. he did go after Sinead while she was with Chesney.
Oh.. and don't forget both Sinead and Bethany are leaving the show..why would the producers have him cheat with someone who is leaving???

  4. Defo nay, not believable. Five minutes ago Daniel was terrified of losing Sinead, reckoned his life would be over, and suddenly he's after Bethany?!

  5. Sinead cheated on Chutney, maybe this is her comeuppance.

  6. I also say nay and I have a bad feeling that Sarah will defend her daughter by using Bethany's grooming trauma as an excuse 'because Bethany went through a lot conviently forgetting that Sinead has cancer.

  7. Why does everyone think that having cancer will prevent one's spouse from cheating? It is not a magic ticket.

Also didn't Kevin have his affair with Jack's mother(I forget her name, Molly??) at around the time Sally had cancer? Was her cancer not serious enough to prevent this? Or did they just always cheat?

I'm not sure one thing has much to do with the other, except it would be very unkind to add that sort of hurt when a person was already going through so much.
