Corrie's Joe Carter stars in Oscar Wilde play
Jonathan Wrather, who played Joe Carter in Coronation Street, is starring on stage in Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray.
He's playing the past of Lord Henry Wotton at the Richmond Theatre.

As Joe Carter in Corrie, Jonathan played the role of a rag trade manager who served two years in jail for fraud. Immediately on release he was offered a job at Underworld by Mike Baldwin. Joe and Karen McDonald had a complicated relationship. Their first intimate encounter was a steamy session on Joe's desk while Karen's husband Steve was hammering at the Underworld front doors. Joe left in 2003 never to be seen again...

I hardly remember him from Corrie, mainly because any memory of him is forever ruined by the horrible, mean, viscous and manipulative character he played in Emmerdale - Pierce Harris.
