Alan Halsall goes under knife for second hair transplant

Pic montage: Manchester Evening News
A few weeks ago, pictures were posted online of Jack P Shepherd, who plays David Platt in Coronation Street, undergoing a hair transplant.

Read more on that here.

And now, Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs, is having his second hair transplant.

Alan says the procedure is ‘nothing to be ashamed of’ and fair play to him if that's what he wants to do and he can afford it.

But going bald is nothing to be ashamed of either, lads.  Brave the shave and let it go.

  1. Bald is good on some and others want their hair. To each their own and of course there is no shame.

  2. How can the poor people of Wetherfield afford hair transplants? That said, I think David’s is recycled from a weasel which gave him the idea for his undoubtedly short-lived salon

Yes - didn't the actress that played Ivy Tisley get into trouble with the producers when she had very apparent cosmetic surgery? Viewers spotted it and said the character wouldn't have the income for it. Also, I'm convinced that that Eileen has had a recent eye-lift.

    1. The actress who plays Eileen had her teeth changed some while ago and she seemed to struggle with them for a while.
