There's a wonderful story in this week's fab Inside Soap magazine that you might have seen doing the rounds of the soap sites in the last couple of weeks. But when it's in Inside Soap, who are always in the know, it always makes me think there might be something to the gossip and rumours after all!
Chesney and Gemma, so the story goes, are going to have quads. Yes, that's right, four babies!
The cobbles spy tells Inside Soap: "Bosses hope the plot will inject some good old-fashioned humour into the show and have viewers in stitches."
Crikey, it's not the viewers I'm worried about needing stitches, it's Gemma.
"Gemma doesn't miss a trick," Inside Soap spy says, "And thinks she can make some serious dosh out of her and Chesney's unexpected news."
However, ITV are staying tight-lipped as to whether the story is true.
If Gemma does give birth to quads, it'll be the first time in soap that quadruplets have featued.

Can alien babies be far behind
ReplyDeleteJust gets more far-fetched each time! The lack of contraception on this street is laughable, let alone the odds of having quads.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely ridiculous storyline. These two need to be given less screen-time, not more!
ReplyDeleteHorrible story line. Agree with Laura about the lack of contraception. The Amy baby story is awful. Corrie hasn't had a good story since Phelan died.
