Should Kayla get off scot-free - Yay or Nay?

Ooh, she's an evil little madam, that Kayla. Someone on Twitter last week even called her #Shelan which I feel appropriate, she could well have been Pat Phelan's evil apprentice. And after what she did to poor Craigy last night, I'll never forgive her. But she's a cracking actress, making the part of Kayla all the more believable.

However, I felt a little let down that Craig and Bethany last night let Kayla off scot-free after tying up Bethany and threatening her and leaving Craig suffering with his anxieties for hours in the A&E department.

So, should Kayla get off scot-free or should Bethany and Craig turn her in to the cops? I say turn her in. But not yet, she's too good to lose straight away. We need more #Shelan before she gets her comeuppance! But please, be gentle with Craig.

  1. I have loved Kayla! Yes she's a vindictive little madam, but she's sympathetic too. She truly believed Bethany was lying and wanted to 'get justice'.

I'd like to see her stay on the Street as a reformed character.

  2. I can’t stand her character and can’t see how someone so very young could have come up with such a psychologically twisted plot BUT the actress (sorry, her name escapes me right now) is so very good and believable she pulled it off. It would be a shame to lose that talent. Maybe with some soul searching or working with Yasmeen at the community center could get her on the path of good characters with flawed pasts.

  3. Does anyone else think that at some point we are going to find out that Kayla herself was sexually abused by her father? I know of a situation like that where the daughter was abused, but still defended the dad because he'd brainwashed her. It was a very sad and sick situation, but let's be honest, this stuff happens in real life unfortunately. I've wondered about that ever since this storyline started.

  4. The latest storylines are horrible and not like Corrie at all. A sign of the times, I guess.

  5. NO! She should not get away with what she's done!

  6. Agree, too many people are getting away with too much for far too long.
