I like this little snippet of news that's reached us today.
As we know, Bhavna Limbachia, who plays Rana Nazir in Coronation Street, was married last weekend. You can view her wedding photos here.
And now it's been revealed that Bhavna's new husband has worked on Coronation Street too. Her new husband is Darren Kuppan and he played a minor, but returning role as "unnamed paramedic."
Now, before you think 'so what?' this unnamed paramedic did a lot in the time he was on the street.
With thanks to Corriepedia we know that he:
- attended the scene of the accident on the night in October 2010 that David Platt ran down Graeme Proctor on Victoria Street.
- arrived at the scene when Stella Price was hit by a car driven by Carla Connor who crashed into Barlow's Bookies.
- appeared in May 2012 when he answered an emergency call to 11 Coronation Street where he tried to revive Lesley Kershaw - who had electrocuted herself whilst trying to make cheese on toast.
- After Karl Munro deliberately started a fire in the Rovers' cellar in March 2013, he was in attendance to initially treat the casualties.
- And in October of the same year, he attended Hayley Cropper, then terminally ill with cancer, when she collapsed inside No.9
Darren Kuppan has also appeared in Emmerdale.
