Where have you seen Corrie's Mona Beattie before?

I liked newcomer Mona Beattie this week. She turned up in Coronation Street  as the project manager at The Mill building site who told Pat Phelan he'd need to drain the swamp lake.

I thought the actress who played Mona Beattie looked a little familiar. The actress who plays her is Rachel Logan and she's been signed up for only five episodes in Corrie. Just five? Oh dear... I hope she doesn't end up in the swamp lake at Phelan's hands.

Rachel Logan has appeared in rival soaps Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.  She's also done a great deal of stage work and a couple of short films too. Her spotlight CV is here.
