Kym Marsh ditches smoking for #Stoptober

Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle Connor in Coronation Street, has joined forces with NHS England North to help promote their stopping smoking campaign.

Kym tells how she has given up smoking and how she was motivated to do so because of her children.  She says she's feeling healthier and happier since giving up the fags but admits it's not easy.

She's recorded a short video which you can watch on the NHS England website here.

And you can join in the stop smoking Stoptober stop smoking campaign here.

  1. I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking that this is turning into the kym marsh/michelle show. Who else is giving up for stoptober?

    1. Maybe only Kym Marsh of the Corrie cast, and that's why they've done the article on her?

I stopped years ago and never felt better. You'd think what happened to Liz Dawn would be enough to stop any of the cast members smoking!

  3. Kym Marsh has a very, very good publicist I think, and worth every penny they're being paid.
