Now that Rita and Gemma have made up and are friends again, Rita is going to come to rely on her flat-mate more and more over the coming weeks, it appears.
Next week in Coronation Street, Gemma grows increasingly concerned for Rita. And having seen her write out a cheque for Jenny to cover the cost of the hen do, Gemma decides to test Rita later.
She tells Rita that she still needs to write a cheque for Jenny - and Rita does so. But then Gemma presents her with both cheques and explains what she’s done.
How will Rita react, will she realise that she needs to get some help?
