Next week in Coronation Street, we'll see Mary battle with a breast cancer scare.
Inside Soap magazine reveal that Mary confides in Erica that she's found a lump in her breast. Erica goes to the doctor with Mary and fortunately the doc tells Mary that the lump is nothing to worry about.
However, the scare sets Mary worrying and she insists on going for a scan despite the GP's resassurances that she's fine. Perhaps, Inside Soap suggest, there is something in Mary's family medical history that's concerning her after her visit to the GP.
Or have thoughts of her own mortality led to her wanting to reconnect with her family in some way?

Would this mean we'd meet some of Mary's family? The 'Mother' we hear so much about? That would be smashing!
ReplyDeleteI hope that's what it means. It would be great to see the early relationships that made Mary so zany and such a traveller though looking at her you'd imagine she would never leave home.
DeleteIt's nice that Mary has a friend in Erica.
