Watch! Sally's home-made campaign video

There's a wonderful, short, campaign video to back Sally's bid to become Independent Councillor in Weatherfield.

The video is home-made by Sally and features husband Tim, daughter Sophie and ex-husband Kevin too.

It's been written by Corrie writer Damon Rochefort  and is well worth a look.

Mind you, I'm finding Sally's style a little hard to swallow...

  1. Sigh. Another video unavailable to Canadians. I don't really understand why this should be, as a Canadian provider (CBC) buys this ITV product. Any ideas?

  2. They don't buy the extra content I guess.

  3. Yes, it really is a shame Canadians can't access these little extras. The CBC Corrie site does offer a few, but they are out of date and I don't bother to search them out. I bet ITV just blocks anyone outside the UK, whether they live in the "colonies" and get Corrie or not. Some things wind up on youtube, but again, I forget about them by then and don't bother looking.

I sometimes wonder how long they stay blocked to us on youtube. I might bother to look for them if I had some idea.

And I agree that Sally's Thatcher stylings are creepy! :)

  4. But why is Kevin out front and center in the top photo? Isn't this Sally's campaign and isn't he her EX husband?

  6. Thanks for sharing this! This is precisely what I'd expect from Sally, but had no idea she was so health conscious (brown bread).

  8. I can understand that ITV doesn't want viewers outside the UK to watch episodes on YouTube due to copyright issues and ad fees, but I don't understand about the extra promotional videos - don't they just encourage viewers to watch these little extras, promos, previews and then build up a following to watch the eps either on CBC or Hulu?? Surely they are not loosing ad revenue by opening up these short videos to everybody.

  9. That's hilarious! I bet the actress had so much fun filming that! I love how the only real moment came when she mentioned Kevin's affair, LOL! And I just knew before she introduced Sophie that she would be sure to say she's a lesbian!

  10. CBC does often put trailers on their website. I wouldn't be surprised if they post this one as well. Look for Web Exclusives.
