Production Manager – Coronation Street
8 Month Fixed Term Contract
Coronation Street have a rare opportunity for a Production Manager to join us on a Fixed Term Contract to manage our day to day production filming requirements.
If you are an experienced Production Manager with a proven track record able to successfully deliver our editorial, production and financial objectives, then we want to hear from you.
Working alongside the Head of Production, Programme Manager and Story team in order to provide the most efficient yet cost effective schedule. You will identify all resources and facilities required for the efficient and smooth running of each filming block.
You will support and manage a wide range of production personnel maintaining close contact with each department and being aware of all additional crew/equipment requirements. Balancing creative aspirations with financial/resource constraints will be second nature to you, as will your ability to oversee and resolve day to day production issues.
This is a senior role within the production and as such you will have responsibility for helping deliver the wider objectives of ITV including employee engagement and the Turnaround Plan.
You will join us with extensive television drama production experience (preferably multi-episode), including budget management, team leadership and production scheduling. A confident spokesperson with a creative approach to problem solving, you will be a highly effective leader with experience of managing and developing teams in a pressurised environment. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to be flexible with regards to working hours.
