With thanks to this week's fab Inside Soap magazine for alerting us to spoiler pics which show Jenny Bradley kidnapping little Jack.
There's clearly something sad and mad going on with Jenny. Perhaps she has lost a child of her own in the past and that's why she's gone a bit doolally with Jack?
Anyway, Inside Soap have pics of Jenny with Jack on the balcony of a highrise building, threatening to jump!
Kevin has turned a blind eye so far to Jenny's behaviour, which I find very odd, considering that Kevin once lost one of his own children. It was when he was with Alison and she gave birth to baby Jake who died just days after he was born.

A similar thing happened to young Bethany with her grandma. It feels like only a couple of years ago - but looking at her now I think I've skipped a few myself...
ReplyDeleteIf true, this seems like such a waste to me. They had so many options available, and THIS is what they chose for the character?
ReplyDeleteThey could have made much more of this storyline by giving us hints of why Jenny is behaving so irrationally. Now I suppose we will get the reasons screamed from the roof top. High melodrama but what a waste of a really good actress. I wonder if someone from Jenny's life catches up with her in W'field and warns Kevin, bringing things to a head.
ReplyDeleteJenny will take Jack away to raise him a more wholesome place. No child should grow up neglected while its parents are too busy boozing at the Rovers, or bed hopping with their neighbours. Jenny feels that all these serial killers roaming in this one street in not a safe environment for Jack. Who can blame her?
ReplyDeleteKevin better be on his knees apologising to his daughter for not believing her when Sophie saw the signs of Jenny's mental instability weeks before. I also hope after this Kevin spends more time with his son instead of in the Rovers as I think sometimes he sees Jack as a 'trophy' he won from Tyrone rather than a child who needs his father.
ReplyDeleteFrom zero to psycho nut job in about three weeks. I know soap stories have accelerated timelines, but this is ridiculous.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous 19:39: And yet the Gavin/Andy and Callum sagas continue - the storylines that never end.
ReplyDeleteWell... Since we senced it coming...all I can write is " What a waste of good hair!"
