Listen: Audio tributes to Anne Kirkbride

With thanks to Audio Boom for sending us this moving collection of audio tributes to Anne Kirkbride, who died this week on Monday night.

In addition, our blogger Emma Hynes was interviewed on BBC Radio Tees on Tuesday this week

Emma was also interviewed on Irish radio station Today FM, along with Boyzone singer Keith Duffy, who played Corrie's Ciaran MacCarthy and former Corrie Producer Gareth Phillips.  Listen below from 52 minutes in.

  1. There is a beautiful granada news special 22 min tribute to her on you tube today. I believe it only went out to the manchester region as a itv news special. If you goto you tube and search for "granada reports" and tick "this week" it will come up. Bill roache gets very emotional, and talks about the real Annie and how nice she was, as well as interviews with stuart blackburn, Sue nichols, antony cotton and some of her Oldham rep colleagues.

  2. "Mad as a box of frogs" came up twice, Keith Duffy and John Michie. "Eccentric" is another commonality. She must have been one awesomely fun person!!!
