Ken and Deirdre's camping trip to Wales - filmed in Cheshire

This coming week on Coronation Street we'll see Ken and Deirdre go off on their caravan holiday to North Wales.  Except that it's not North Wales, it's Cheshire.

An ITV Coronation Street publicist said: “They [the scenes] were filmed at Sandiway, Cheshire. There are restrictions on time. We schedule to get scenes filmed and may do a month in one week. It’s quite a big thing to go out on locations.”

I just hope whole episodes are not going to be dedicated to this with Diedre chain smoking and saying OOOHHH KENNNNN! It doesnt ring true that Ken was so fired up about being there for Peter only to disappear yet again for another break when he has only just got back from 18 months in Canada.

  2. Didn't Ken just tell Simon he would take him along to visit Peter in prison the next time he went - hope he's told him it might be several weeks as he has to nip off to Wales? Still no scene with Ken offering his condolences to Roy - very strange....
