Last night a new Coronation Street writer was credited. Perrie Balthazar's first Corrie episode was aired on Wednesday 7 May 2014.
Perrie has been a member of the Coronation Street writing time since 2013. She was a core writer on Hollyoaks and a member of the core writing team for Eastenders for three years. She's also worked on Emmerdale as a storyliner.
Perrie was selected for the CBBC/Writersroom Drama development scheme and BBC Daytime
drama development residential. And she's developing ‘Eat Me’, an original comedy script.

Does this mean she was previously an uncredited member of the writing team? Makes me wonder how the uncredited writers are used.
ReplyDeleteFlaming Nora, could you please include the writers' age, gender identity and city of origin. (Tony Warren was/is proudly gay and is from the north. It made a difference to his perspective and world-view when creating and writing for this program.)
