Fat Brenda's daughter joins Coronation Street online spin-off

Fantastic news for Fat Brenda fans - and for fans of Steve and Lloyd in the Streetcars cab office in Coronation Street.

The official Coronation Street website at itv.com/corrie are starting a new online mini-series all about the Streetcars' office.  It starts today, Monday 3 February 2014.

Watch the first one here as Steve and Lloyd do "The Stripper".

And Fat Brenda's daughter will be putting in an appearance, in episode three.  Let's hope she makes her mum proud!

Overseas fans can watch the first Streetcars spin-off episode by the wonders of YouTube at the official ITV account.  However, the remainder of the mini-series will only be available at itv.com/corrie so this may mean it's restricted to UK viewers only.

Written by Coronation Street scriptwriter Chris Fewtrell, the four-part series launches today, with Steve and Lloyd performing their own, unique, rendition of the Morecombe and Wise ‘Breakfast’ sketch in ‘The Stripper’.  Watch it here.

  1. Boo! It may be ITV's production, but Corrie is shown worldwide, and that's the official Coronation Street site. I get it with licensing restrictions and the actual show, but not for specials that will never make it to air. If non-broadcast shorts and interviews can't be opened up to the rest of the world on ITV's site, I wish they'd make them available to international sites like Hulu & the CBC.

(getting off soap box, hoping someone from ITV read that)

  2. Totally agree with what abbyk said! Though I wonder if the IT department at CBC could handle it. They're barely able to run a satisfactory comments section for news.

I'd love to see these and other little special videos on ITV's YouTube site. The Stripper was hilarious! We need more of that kind of humour on the actual show.
