Coronation Street review - December 2013

Here we go with our annual review of Coronation Street month-by-month, all wrapped up in a little reminder of what's gone on in Weatherfield this year.

December 2013
Carla and Peter get wed; Hayley’s given weeks to live; Peter fancies Tina; Sean fancies Todd; Tim takes up window cleaning;  Kal arrives; Andrea arrives; Maddie arrives;  Brian leaves; Dennis and Gloria grow close; the nativity play and drunken parent storyline gets recycled: “Don’t worry” says little Simon “this happens every year.”

Best gift of the month:  Rita and Norris buy Norris a new coat, so the nosy parker’s in a parka.

Unseen prop of the month: the Morecambe Bay corkscrew

Bitch of the month:
Dennis:  “I used to rub  shoulders with the movers and the shakers, back in the day.”
Rita: “When I met you, you were rubbing shoulders with the winos and the drunks."
Ouch.
