Congratulations once again to duly noted who spotted that last week's collecting box can be found in Weatherfield General.
A couple of weeks ago AmandaB asked for some Coronation Street props from the past, so I've dug a few out and let's see how you get on. Back in the day, houses didn't seem to be so cluttered with niff-naffs and the debris of daily life.
So whereabouts (and whenabouts as well if you like) might you have seen this mismatched tea set.
P.S. Wishing our wonderful editor, Flaming Nora, Many Happy (Rovers) Returns of the Day.

Shanny said: I'll take a stab at this one. It looks like Deidre in the background smoking one of her fags so I'll say the Barlow's home. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking up my suggestion!
ReplyDeleteOhhh now this is a challenge. I'm going to guess at it being Liz MacDonald I'm the early 1990s.
But that teapot looks sooo familiar. Might have another guess with my second choice, if no one else picks them by this aftermoon.

Probably nobody after the 1990s, the Northern brew seems a thing of the past replaced by bottles of wine on the table these days.
ReplyDeleteMy guess would be the back room of the Rovers Return.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Flaming Nora!
I think that's in Elsie Tanner's house, and is that Audrey in one of her first appearances?
ReplyDeleteThe living room at the Rovers.
ReplyDeleteI was going to suggest it was Elsie because there's no way that's Deirdre's cleavage! But Graeme's guess of a younger Audrey might just be spot on.
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought Elsie, but would she have bothered with a milk jug? straight from the bottle was Elsie. I think it has to be the Rovers back room and Liz.
ReplyDeleteI think it's Tracy sitting at kitchen table at the Barlows.Liz.
ReplyDeleteSeeing as nobody else has said it, my second guess is Irma Ogden.

Bet Lynch in the Corner Shop flat?
ReplyDeleteAnd I think it's between 1976 and 1980.
ReplyDeleteI think it's Websters house. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's my comment. I forgot to write my name. -Pod
DeleteOMG! I think that is Rosie's cleavage! Lol! -Pod
