An evening with William Roache in Manchester

William Roache, who plays Coronation Street's Ken Barlow, offers Manchester audiences a rare treat by hosting an entertaining evening of anecdotes, art and fundraising in support of the region’s homeless.

The one-off event takes place at Mustard Tree - a charity supporting the homeless and marginalised in Ancoats on Saturday 16 March from 7.00pm

An Audience with William Roache MBE includes an intimate talk by William, who will share stories about his life and work and will be answering questions from audience members.

Two photographs of the whole Coronation Street cast signed by William will be auctioned, and a charity raffle will give one lucky audience member the opportunity to win an original painted portrait of William signed personally and presented by him.

One raffle runner-up will take home a commission of their choice worth up to £2000 by Manchester Visual Artist and Mustard Tree’s Creative Programmes Manager Graham Hudson from his acclaimed body of work Angels Vs Demons. The third prize consists of an original art work by one of the emerging artists at Mustard Tree’s ART STUD110. Audience members will also be provided with light refreshments and a drama performance from Mustard Tree’s performing arts group.
