Corrie's Tyrone to have an affair

This Coronation Street spoiler from today's Sun comes with the usual 'take it with a pinch of salt'.  But if it's true, it could be a good 'un.

The Sun says today that Tyrone will lean on Fiz over the coming months for more support as Kirsty continues to be horrible to him.

And as Tyrone and Fiz get close again, it eventually leads to more - and they rekindle their romance.

I just pity Tyrone when Kirsty finds out, because we all know she will.

NO ! Fizz and Tyrone have already been there and done that and it would give credence to Kirsty and her jealousy if she were right all along.

  3. I suppose this is the lead-in to Kirsty tampering with Fizz's boiler and the sewing machine incident. It seems quite plausible that Tyrone and Fizz would reunite; they're both normal people who somehow got saddled with bizarre partners.

  4. I'd rather they got back together after Kirsty has left. They are doomed if they do it this way!

  5. I have a feeling this story (if true) could bring the whole Kirsty saga to a climax. She will of course find out about the affair, and attempt to kill Fizz in an 'accident' which will backfire, leaving Kirsty either dead or locked away in gaol or a mental hospital...

  6. These characters just go around in circles now, living out predictable soap plots and nothing more. All the soaps are drifting off into their own self-involved bubble. What happened to the days when they used to reflect real life? We are in the middle of a financial crisis, with people struggling, in situations that could provide real drama, and none of the soaps are reflecting that. No wonder they're losing popularity. They're disconnected to reality. Corrie started out as kitchen sink drama. It should ditch all the repetitive affairs and get back to its roots.

  7. For me, Anonymous has summed up the state of Corrie nowadays perfectly.

  8. If this is true, it probably won't happen until after Tyrone's "marriage" and Fiz's near-death.

I still think that the sewing machine incident will be an attempt from Kirsty to try and scare Fiz off, but it won't work. And then Tyrone will come up with his brilliant (LOL!) scheme to marry Kirsty, and not long after they're married Kirsty will find out his plan and go berserk.

She'll probably beat Tyrone worse than he's ever been beaten by her before, and figuring that Fiz put him up to it, she'll try (and fail) to kill her. Of course, there'll be no proof but Tyrone and Fiz will know that she did it.

Feeling utterly trapped, Tyrone will have nobody else to turn to and then the affair will start happening. Kirsty will find this out and most likely try to kill them both, but end up being killed herself or arrested in the attempt. And then Kirsty's parents (well, at least her dad) will want custody of Ruby, of course.

I'll see how close I am in the upcoming months, but since Coronation Street is becoming more and more "Americanized" I probably won't be far off.

  9. It really does look like Collinson is doing his best to sabotage the new producer by bringing in new crap storylines along with the crap ones he has already introduced so that the new producer will be unable to salvage the Street and thus put the blame on someone other than himself for the demise of the Street.

  10. What does everyone mean Corrie isn't realistic anymore?
I am 15 and my mum(who is seperated from my dad) is seeing a man she works with who is married with 5 kids.
And I am the only other person who knows.
And No I'm not being sarcastic.

  11. Kirsty will see the obvious affection between the two. Kirsty loves Tyrone but cannot help herself from bullying him and she deeply regrets that. She will give her blessings to Tyrone and Fizz, wishing them well and pack her bags. SHe will arrange a sensible joint-custody plan for Ruby because she understands that is what is the best interest of the child. What? Can't a soap reflect real life once in awhile?

  12. I'm still hoping Kirsty ends up in the big house or the loonie bin, leaving Fiz and Tyrone to raise their babes together.

  13. I'll believe it only when Fiz buys a pet rabbit for her baby. That and a prized new cooking pot.
