Charles Lawson, who played Big Jim McDonald in Coronation Street (so he did) is making a return to soap. Sadly, he's not returning to Corrie but he is going to appear in an episode of Doctors.
Digital Spy revealed that Charlie has already filmed his guest appearances on the BBC One
daytime drama. He plays the part of Gary, a warehouse worker who is unable to deal
with his recent diagnosis of petit mal epilepsy and attempts to hide
his condition from his employer.
Doctors broadcasts the episode on Friday, November 30 at 1.45pm on BBC One.
Jim McDonald was last seen on Corrie in April last year when he was sent to the Big House after trying to rob a building society to win the heart of his Elizabeth, so it was, so he did, Belfast fry, etc.

ReplyDeleteOh I'd love to see Jim back on the cobbles even with Liz. If Tracy can get away with murder wouldn't robbery be just as easy.....?
ReplyDeleteUnlikely he'll ever return, but Steve could do with an ally in his dealings with the Barlows.
ReplyDeleteGreat point, ChiaGwen. Jim has served more time for assault and robbery than Tracy has for first degree murder.
ReplyDeleteI want Jim to walk the cobbled street again some day and maybe for a while, I loved how Jim beat up that guy called Jez, so Charles Lawson please return to the Rovers Return.
