Fight scene chaos at Corrie christening

Not how the day was meant to pan out: Owen and Gary go head to head at baby Joseph's christeningThere's paparazzi pictures online at the Daily Mail showing a right royal punch-up at the christening of baby Joseph.

The pics show Chesney and Katy in dramatic fight scenes when Owen and Chesney lose their temper with Gary.

The paper reports that Katy agrees to be a surrogate mother to sister Izzy's baby.  This winds up Owen and Chesney and they all blame Gary, for some strange reason.

View the pictures here.

The church used for the filming was St Martin’s Church in Ashton, which was also used for filming of Blanche Hunt's funeral. More here.

  1. Finally, It's nice to see a great storyline with Gary and Izzy so underused. - Glad they are back in the soap.

Mikey is incredible actor and I can;t wait to see this storyline unfold

More punch up and nastiness at what should be a happy family occasion. Cant the writers think of anything else??? So flaming predictable and uber tiresome.

  3. Surrogate? I thought Izzy is pregnant. Do they mean to transplant the foetus into Katy?

    I'm with Frosty.
Virtually no violence for the first 25 years iof Corrie, and now it's every second episode.

Britain needs to take its serotonin replacements. Or the writers do.

  9. Owen looks like he wants to take Stevey Mac's regular 'Gurn of the week' spot!

Incidently, yes it all sounds a tad too barmy and yet again like the big 3 soaps are running out of ideas and desperatly barrowing each others angles. Yes soap will always naturaly recycle the same storylines eventually but they don't need to be doing the same plots so recently close together. Flamming nora! Better not be any slightest suggestion of Katy and Gary having to going all emmerdale on us! grrr!
