Peacocks survive Corrie tram crash

The Sunday People says today that Claire and Ashley Peacock will survive the Christmas tram crash and that they'll leave to move to France. I'm glad they're not being killed off. So much for Phil Collinson wanting to put a stop to spoiler leaks in the run up to Corrie's 50th, eh? Seems they're still hitting the papers.

Wonder who'll run the butchers, though?

  1. I think there won't be nearly as many people actually killed by the tram as the media is making out. I think there will be one or two, with some others injured. All the actors leaving are and have been spaced out over the year. This is the second way we've heard the Peacocks are leaving. Last one was to do with Claire being accused of abusing Aadi and leaving and then returning to clear her name before leaving altogether. Could be that second exit is to France but it doesn't seem like a destination Ashley would be happy with.

  2. Phil Collinson also said that "you shouldn't believe all you read in the papers over the coming months"

  3. Um....okay Sunny...

Anywho, this sounds more of a suitable exit, but it might not be true, fake spoilers and all

  4. I am glad that Ashly and Clurr are going to survive, I think they should go and live with her mother.

I suspect the tram crash is a hyped up sensationalist story like the burning down of the factory with Tony Gordon that turns into another damp squib.

  5. France? Why France?
I can just see Ashley in France.
Is that a popular destination for Brits?
Didn't Janice's plumber boyfriend work there too?
Glad though, if this is a genuine 'spoiler' that they won't be 'killed off' for they can't all exit that way, but it's the 'do they' or 'don't they' leading up to the tragedy that keeps the interest alive for some, I suppose.

  6. I'd like to see Ashley stay on at the butcher's - there are some really good scenes in there - I like Claire also, always have,

  7. I think anyone with half a brain doesn't believe anything they read in the papers anyway ;-) But it is fun reading these spoilers - some come true, some don't - and it's all taken in a fun sense, not a serious one.

  8. To be honest i love reading these soap spoilers, but 99% of the time they are nowhere near as dramatic as whats made out by the media! I would love this 'disaster' to be a serious as its made out to be but i really hope that, Grahem, Michelle, Simon, Becky and other much loved charachters do not get killed of!! Anyway if they do kill of as many people as they say they are doing theere will be no cast left :)x
