What a refreshingly watchable week of Corrie this turned out to be, packed with characters we actually care about and even some pleasantly low-stakes drama in parts too. Debbie, Christina, Glenda, Sam, Bernie, the Driscolls... these were the headliners this week, and even the utterly ridiculous revelation that Christina is actually Lucy's grandmother couldn't ruin it. Eva's OTT cold and Glenda skivvying around after her was hilarious, Bernie's reaction to Kit's news was heartbreaking, and despite us being far from the world's biggest Carl fan, that scene with him and Steve in the cab office really was quite endearing. Now if only they'd pick up the pace a bit with the Metcalfe story - and have Sally push back more against Tim too!
The positive vibes continue into The Kabin, where we celebrate Corrie's big wins at the Inside Soap Awards this week, and we round the episode off as always with more of your listener feedback.
