Coronation Street Episode Review Monday 27th April

Theo - Corrie - ITV

It's still Thursday as we re-re-wind to 23rd, but from a non-Swarla perspective. There are 5 episode in a week and 5 potential murderees; so I guess we might know by 9 p.m. Thursday?

Anyway, this is Theo's episode. Todd tries to find his swimming trunks in the flat as Theo breaks in and offers to cook a butternut squash risotto, mentioning death row final meals and last suppers. He once again threatens Todd and George arrives, fakes cramp, punches Theo, then locks him in the bathroom. They call the cops but by the time Kit has got back-up, Theo's escaped via the scaffolding that he put up.

Gary finds Summer about to smash Theo's van and they go for a chat in the community garden and Summer tells him what she knows about Theo killing Billy.  "I wonder when he knew it was the end," she says. When ITV didn't renew Daniel Brocklebank's contract, I guess. It's not quite clear why Summer doesn't go to the po-po with her information? Plus her attempt to get Carl to sort it didn't really come to owt.

Todd is about to escape to the airport with his new travel adapter (and presumably his passport) but stops because he doesn't have his phone. Betsy and Lauren steal his taxi and then he's on the street face to face....with Theo.
