  1. Really hate the new couple Lou and Mick...her screeching and over the top antics make Gemma look like Emily Bishop. This might be the final straw that breaks the camels back. I in good conscience don't think that I can watch Corrie anymore. Fiftyfive years and I am ready to call it quits and watch the olden days Corrie. There is no one left on the street that I truly care about. The Platt family saga is a bit much, the misery, crime, and murders are enough to turn me off. Every day someone is being arrested or assaulted. Sorry Corrie...I reall tried...might stil listen to Conversation Street Podcast though..Like Gemma and Michael

  2. I feel the same. Hardly anyone left who I like. Or is even credible. I have watched Corrie from the start but this may be the end of the road.

  3. Rob's assault on Swain was unnecessarily violent for a pre-watershed slot, I thought. She'd be near dead after that, not walking around a few minutes later with barely a mark on her.

  4. Not to mention that Rob was running around straight after major surgery and even had the strength to overpower the useless prison guard and beat up Swain.
Even if he is dead, Carla can prove self defence because of the gun. Mandy is a witness.
Very athletic of him to somersault over the handrail rather than continue falling down the stairs. But doubtless he survives in order to exploit Bobby's new found devotion.

    1. Mandy had already left prior to Rob's fall down the stairs

  5. Rob's fall seemed quite strange. As we'd recorded the episode, we re- wound it and watched it closely. It looked like he'd thrown himself off the rail. Realistically, I don't see how he'd bounce back over the wall to tip over naturally. If he'd just fallen to the bottom of the stairs, it would be more convincing.
The new couple, Lou and Mick, are a love/ hate couple with each other, who thrive on drama. They are dragging Ches and Gemma into their toxic relationship.
Ches is a people pleaser and didn't know how to refuse Mick's request for money. Gemma too, is eager help them.
When they discover Ches 's windfall from Les's company, they'll be pleading poverty all the time! I guess Ches and Gemma need another plot now the kids are at school.

  6. Mandy didn’t witness the fall but she knows Rob had a gun because she brought it. It incriminates her too but she's already been found out for colluding with Rob. She won't defend him now, after he knocked her over.

  7. Haven't Gemma and Chesney spent all of Les's compo money by now?
