CARLA TELLS ROY THE TRUTH ABOUT THE LIE In his cell, Roy confides in the prison officer that new evidence has come to light and he’s hopeful he might be released.  In the court, Dee-Dee makes the case for Roy’s bail application and describes how Bobby saw a man leaving Lauren’s flat who didn’t fit Roy’s description but the Judge refuses Roy’s bail application. Dee-Dee visits Roy in his cell and tells him not to give up hope and that the police are planning a reconstruction. Roy calls Carla from prison and asks her to come and see him as he needs to talk to her about Bobby’s statement. Has Roy caught onto Bobby’s lie?

LEANNE OPENS HER MIND TO ROWAN In the bistro, Leanne tells Nick that she feels betrayed and he should never have kept Toya’s secret from her. When Rowan arrives, Leanne immediately perks up. Rowan suggests to Leanne she should unburden herself of negativity and embark on some uploading. As Leanne tries to object, Rowan urges her to put herself first. Toyah calls in the bistro to find Nick run off his feet as Leanne is with Rowan so Toyah offers to help him out. As Leanne talks Rowan through all the bad things that have happened in her life, he listens intently and assures her that he’s by her side every step of the way.

STEVE WANTS TO HEAR FROM DEMI MORE In the cafĂ©, Tim advises Steve to arrange a date with his online love interest, Demi, to check out that she really exists and she’s who she says she is. Fed up with Steve’s dithering, Tim grabs his phone off him and sends a message to Demi suggesting they go on a date.

WILL GEORGE DO THE RIGHT THING At No.11, Eileen packs the last of her things for Thailand and tells George that Todd found a copy of Archie’s will which states that Glenda is to have half the business. As George peruses his Dad’s will, Todd does his best to play down its importance. Will George tell Glenda the truth?

ELSEWHERE Amy tells Bernie that she got the gig as a student radio presenter but is short of a guest for her first live interview. As Bernie watches Paul telling amusing stories to Hannah, his PA, Bernie has an idea…

  1. Leanne is being ridiculous. Toyah had only just told Nick about the baby when Leanne came home and he's right in that it was up to Toyah, not him, to tell her sister. Which she did, later that day. Leanne is behaving as if Nick had known all along! Now it looks as though Nick and Toyah will have an affair!

  5. I could understand Leanne's anger as she probably felt hurt that Toyah didn't confide in her but in Nick whom Toyah isn't that close to.
Unfortunately the dead baby revelation is being used as a contrived ploy for Toyah and Nick to have an affair which I think is in very bad taste and an insult to those who have lost children.

  6. Toyah confided in Nick because he was sympathetic - he could see that Toyah was really upset and that it wasn't just about Roy. Whereas Leanne, in her usual way, just ranted and raved.
Of course the whole storyline is ridiculous and, as the person above says, just a device to push Nick and Toyah into an affair. They are already closer in their suspicion of Rowan. Another ridiculous story. Leanne is the last person who'd fall for that mumbo jumbo.

    I agree with you, anon.
I don't honestly think Toyah would do this with a stillborn baby.
I know his silly back story makes sense to the writers and producers - but the viewers think it's absurd.
It's amazing that no- one would suspect that she was pregnant, especially with Janice, Les and Lee-anne in the house.
If Leen-anne now spills the beans to Rowan, and he records it, he's got this to blackmail them.
I can't see Toyah or Nick throwing themselves into an affair. They may come close but they'd hesitate.
Glenda's going to have a new love interest- Ed, Steve, Adam or Dev?

  8. I am in Canada and we are weeks behind.
To think that Roy's story is still going on is ridiculous.
    When will it ever end?
The writers are still trying to figure it out for themselves.

  9. Steve would be a good match for Glenda. I wonder if she is "Demi", but chickened out at the idea of a date? Though I can't believe Tracy won't come back to Steve.

Yes, I reckon that Tracey will return Steve. The actress has been written out due to illness, apparently.
Glenda could be Demi but the daters post photos of themselves on this app, don't they? I can't see Glenda finding Steve that attractive. She can do better.
I can't see it being Adam or Dev. Dev is with Bernie, anyway.
So it's either Ed or maybe Brian? But he'd be too scared of her!
She won't be Ken's cup of tea, either.
