A charity shop in Manchester is offering wedding dresses for sale that have been worn by characters in Coronation Street.
Manchester World reports that Corrie’s costume department make regular donations to the St Ann’s Hospice’s Bridal and Vintage Store in Stockport when the clothing is no longer needed for its stars on the famous cobbles.
They have many wedding dresses on sale which have been worn by actresses on the soap. Currently in the shop window, there are gowns worn by Kym Marsh as Michelle Connor and Catherine Tyldesley as Eva Price. There is also a dress worn by Jane Danson as Leanne Battersby.
The shop has appointments for fittings all day from Tuesday to Saturday, with the shop also catering for mother of the bride and bridesmaids and accessories , with a recommended local seamstress. It says the dresses are all in excellent condition and at reasonable prices, with lots of designers included.
