Wendy 'flaming' Crozier is coming back to Coronation Street

Wendy Crozier is coming back to Coronation Street, according to reports in all the tabloids today.

Roberta Kerr returned in the role of Wendy back in 2012 but she's coming back again. I wonder why?

I want to know where she's been and who she's been with.

If you need to refresh your memory of what happened between Wendy and Ken Barlow, here's our recap including The Ballad of Wendy Crozier.

  1. The one character that needs a return visit is Denise. Given Daniel's problems and the story he told about being abandoned at one point prior to his return there must be a whole character arc which needs exploring, plus why has Debbie not let Audrey's to some one? I thought for ages that Natasha would take it on - but I got that completely wrong.

  2. First,Spider, then Stephen and now Wendy Crozier?!
This is getting ridiculous as the cast is too big and a lot of characters not getting their fair share of storylines and yet the writers are bringing back older characters instead?!

  3. I read that Wendy Crozier comes back as a social worker involved with a resident on the street, Suppose this could be Alfie. Maybe she's a guardian, appointed by the courts to decide the child's best interests when Abi starts an appeal. I guess Wendy would be retired now but retired social workers have contracts to do this kind of work.

  4. She must be in her late 70s by now. She didn’t seem much younger than Ken when they had their affair.

  5. Yes Anon, but the street is full of folk in their 80s who are still working!
