First pics of Nick and Natasha's son, Sam Blakeman


Nick and Natasha's son, Sam Blakeman arrives in Weatherfield next week and Nick gets to meet his son for the very first time.



Sam Blakeman is played by Jude Riordan. In 2017 Jude was selected to appear in the Channel 4 documentary; The Secret Life of 4, 5 & 6-Year Olds and it quickly became apparent to everyone that he was very comfortable and enjoyed being in front of the camera.

Jude was later cast as 'Little Phil' in the CCBC drama Katy and shortly after was voice cast in the very successful 'Haribo' TV Commercials where children provide the voices of adult actors. in 2018

Jude joined the cast of the Sky One drama Brassic starring Michelle Keegan and Joseph Gilgun. Jude attends the Television Workshop in Manchester, loves Marvel Super-Heroes and Lego.

  1. I'm sure this young man is a competent actor - - - but he doesn't look remotely like either Natasha or Nick. Surely they could have found someone who had at least a slight resemblance.

    1. My son looks nothing like myself or his father. There's a standing family joke that he must be the milkman's. (He's not by the way). But saying he doesn't look like his parents doesn't necessarily mean he couldn't be their son.
      Max doesn't look anything like Kylie or Callum. People will criticise on here whatever he looks like or however he acts before even giving him a chance.

  2. Although he may not look like his parents,Sam does have similuar features as his grandmother Gail.
    To be honest,at first I thought Sam resembled Norman'Curly' Watts.

  3. I'm a little confused,since children aren't allowed on the set due to Covid 19,why is Sam being introduced now while Oliver or the other Platt children aren't seen?
