One mustn't be too picky about plot holes but I can't help feeling that Imran's a terrible solicitor. Doesn't he know how to search for death certificates to verify whether a person is actually dead? Elaine says she changed her name from Philippa. Presumably that was done by deed poll so she could get a P45 etc. He can check that, too. If I didn't know that Geoff was definitely going to get his come-uppance, I might be hooked on this storyline. But I kind of know the ending, just not how we get there, and these little irritations get in the way.
ReplyDeleteIt can be so frustrating for us who know more than the writers. I know they want to play the story out over time but to eliminate the obvious!? I don't like yelling at my tv, it knows not what its doing.
ReplyDeleteFor someone who's supposedly running a business,Sarah is an idiot to believe Gary's lie that his not raising the rent is not a bribe.
ReplyDeleteOf course it is to keep Sarah quiet and on his side and the worst part for me is that Gary is also exploiting Oliver's illness so he'll look good to Sarah and Nick.
I have been thinking the same thing recently, Humpty. Imran seems to not do any research, relying on the locals for
ReplyDeletenew information and allows witnesses to run amok revealing vital information. Alya is an example.
Extending a good story is one thing, testing credibility is another.
