Corrie Comedy Cuts: Karaoke at the Rovers

To celebrate sixty years of Corrie I’m sharing the scenes and moments that have made me laugh the most over the years. And boy do we need a bit of a giggle right now.

My latest pick is from the 90s and Rodney at the Rovers is hosting a karaoke night. It’s going down well with some punters, including Reg, complete with his new hairpiece.

Watching these episodes of Classic Corrie has made me fall in love with this character all over again. Reg, played by Ken Morley, is a complete scene stealer.
Watch and enjoy!

  2. Superb Stevie!! I'd forgotten a lot of these characters, but they all acted as though they were having the best time of it.

Now, how about the writers find a way of hooking Daniel up with Emma; that way they might also reunite Denise and Fiona as best-friends turned joints mothers-in-law (rather like Liz and Deirdre)?

  3. Haha...loved it! One of my all time favourite scenes was when Fred Gee wore a hairpiece...Everyone tried to pretend they didn't notice...until Percy Sugden came in and asked what the hell was on his head..priceless..haha

  4. I loved this sequence so much, the very best of comic Corrie. A true classic. And who's that extra behind Reg and the others, rocking for all he's worth - brilliant!
