Corrie Stars In Lockdown

Ever wondered what our favourite soap stars are up to whilst social distancing? Well here's a quick peek into the lives of some of Corrie's cast members I've managed to pluck from social media.

I think lockdown is getting to some of them...

What's going on here? See below...
Sally Carman
Posted on Twitter by @SallyCarman1

Newly-engaged Sally is stuck in lockdown with her hubby-to-be Joe Duttine and their unbelievably cute dog Fig, which when I last checked was being carried around their home like a Prada bag.

Adorable.

Fig Bag
Sally has also posted information on social media for people concerned about or experiencing domestic violence while we are all stuck at home. You can find out more HERE.

Simon Gregson

Simon has been suffering from symptoms of Coronavirus but is on the mend now. He posted on social media recently:

"1st day out of bed today starting to feel a little better after contracting the virus, my main symptom was gastric and still is bloody awful but lucky to not have respirator".

And in an effort to raise money for NHS workers, he has sold two personal possessions; a classic bike and car.

More information about Simon’s efforts and a sad personal loss HERE.

Beverley Callard

Corrie legend Bev has been cracking the whip it would seem, having posted a photo of hubby Jon doing the ironing. As well as offering little updates on their home life, Bev posted a message to NHS workers to say thank you, and to encourage the public to keep to the government’s advice and stay indoors.

Sally-Ann Matthews

Sal has been, as always, keeping us all amused on Twitter a lot of the time. For starters she's been reminding us what day it is:

And proving up-to-the-minute reviews of her favourite telly shows:

What would be do without her?

"What do you mean it's Thursday?"
Adam Blease

Adam can usually be found loitering in the background of the knicker factory or mincing past the bar in the Rovers necking a pint as he goes as Dirk, but in lockdown Adam has been promoting the work of his choir the BeeVocal Choir. Bee Vocal promotes mental health awareness and they have appeared on the Royal Variety show amongst others. Adam has also been promoting charities which are raising money for NHS workers.

Oh, and of course there have been the obligatory dog posts:

Patti Clare

I have no idea what Patti has been doing in isolation but here’s a photo.

No idea.

Sue Cleaver

Sue has been going for bike rides. Big. Circular. Bike rides.

Yes, Sue. You are alone in this.

Daniel Brocklebank

As well as Attenborough-like commentary on various creatures’ bowel movements in the garden...

Dan and friends have been playing dress-up:

I feel like I've not been making enough effort during this pandemic...

Jack P Shepherd

Jack has been channelling Hugh Grant with a hilarious re-enactment of Hugh’s dancing scene in Love Actually. Dedicating the spoof to NHS workers Jack also sent his best wishes to PM Boris Johnson who thankfully is now out of hospital.

JUMP
Suffice it to say, Corrie stars, just like the rest of us ARE ALL GOING MAD. But happily, it would appear.

They have made me smile in the lockdown anyway. Cheers guys.
