Rob Mallard, who plays Daniel Osbourne in Coronation Street, and Katie McGlynn, who played Sinead Tinker, picked up an award last night on behalf of Coronation Street.
The award for Best Continuing Drama Storyline went to Corrie for their storyline involving Daniel and Sinead's fight against cancer.
The award was given by the Royal Television Society North West in their awards ceremony held last night, Saturday 23rd November 2019.
The awards ceremony took place in central Manchester at the Hilton Hotel on Deansgate.
Rob Mallard, who plays Daniel, also won this award.

So very well deserved too. This painful storyline was brilliantly acted by all concerned. I certainly shed a few tears in the showing of this one!
ReplyDeleteWell deserved. And highlights the fact that actors must be given good storylines so that they can show their stuff. Many people have dissed the acting of Katie McGlynn as Sinead, but she played a blinder in this story. Hopefully it will send her off to a more challenging career. Corrie will be lucky to keep Rob Mallard, who has been brilliant since moment one.
