The previews are in from ITV for next week’s Corrie and the police question David about the attack on Josh, showing him first the video footage in which David is clearly visible and then the scissors which were used as a weapon. David maintains his innocence but he’s clearly worried.
As a worried David prepares for his hearing, Abe urges him to stick to the story unless he wants to end up like Josh. To the family’s horror, David is refused bail and remanded in custody until the trial.
Imran calls at the Platts with the news that Josh has regained consciousness.
Shona prays that Josh will tell the police how David actually saved his life. Shona’s excitement about David being released in time for the wedding is dashed when Imran reveals that Josh has lied to the police and framed David for his attempted murder. Will there be a wedding after all?
