Sympathy cards at Barlow's house - but who's dead?

Each week, the official ITV Coronation Street team on Twitter post four pictures of filming of upcoming scenes. And in the pictures posted at the weekend, here's a pic of the Barlow's living room set.

We see Ken talking to Beth (and is that the first time we've ever seen Beth at the Barlows?). Seated at the table is Carla. So far, so normal. But look closer at the dresser where you'll see three cards. Look even closer and you'll see that they are sympathy cards.

So, my question today is, who do you think has died?  My guess is Sinead, otherwise why would Beth be there?

Any other thoughts?
