The previews are in from ITV for next week’s Coronation Street and Kevin’s sister Debbie Webster returns to Weatherfield.
Kevin’s disappointed when old friend Martine fails to show up for their date. When Debbie (Kevin’s sister) then calls at the garage looking for him, Abi mistakes her for Martine and gives her a mouthful for standing Kevin up.
Debbie breaks the news to Kevin that their Auntie Vi has died and has left her £200k. Kevin’s gobsmacked when Debbie says she wants him to have the money and says he can’t accept the money.
But will Kevin take the money after all?

Is the Pope Catholic? Of course he'll take the money.
ReplyDeleteLarge amounts of money are easy come, easy go on Corrie.
ReplyDeleteIt seems weird that they’ve killed “Auntie Vi”, rather than Bill, since the actor himself has passed away. But YAY! It’s Our Rita!
ReplyDeleteThey probably sought permission from the family of the dead actor. Since he was axed, I wouldn't be surprised if they said no, resulting in this rehash
DeleteWho is Auntie Vi? The obvious thing is surely to split the money between Debbie and Kevin?
ReplyDeleteNot only will Kevin take the money as he always does, but he'll waste every last cent of it instead of looking up Anna Windass to return the money she gave him when she thought he was a decent human being and his garage needed saving.
ReplyDeleteDidn't Kevin have windfall with a lottery before he split with Sally? Feels like a rehash.
