He's back tonight! Yes, the Devster returns to Coronation Street in tonight's episodes, Monday 12 August.
And just in case you need a reminder, Dev's been to India. In real life, Jimmi Harkishin, the actor who plays Dev, has been on a three month break from the show. Nothing serious, just a holiday, exactly the same kind of break that Helen Worth, who plays Gail, is taking from the show now.
Anyway, Dev returns to face a storm of problems on the Street. First off he's got Evelyn to deal with in the corner shop. He's not best pleased to find out she's been running a betting scam while he's been gone. Mind you, Evelyn's got a few choice words to say to Dev too.
But there's more problems coming Dev's way when he finds out that his daughter Asha is using a skin lightening cream. This story begins on Wednesday this week. But where's her twin brother? Seems he's stuck in India.
