Schmeichel the Great Dane met his maker on Coronation Street a few years ago. But his spirit lives on, in the form of another Great Dane who now walks the cobbles.
This Great Dane, pictured above, is the great, great, great nephew of the Great Dane who played the original Schmeichel. What a lovely link to have.
The dog's name is Scout and he is 22 months old. His real name is FendaneSylcrest American Son for Teeseedane Imp USA and he arrived from Miami in March 2018.
