RuPaul's Drag Race UK is coming soon to a device near you. I have no idea what that means, but it's happening. I love a bit of drag but I've never seen RuPaul and I think this UK series could be the time to put right my drag wrongs and start watching it.
I've already been pulled in by the promo videos of the new drag queens. One in particular, called Baga Chipz, is a massive Coronation Street fan. She says: “When I’m at home I’m watching Coronation Street, eating a pot noodle, smoking a fag. I’m like lady of the manor with a fella over to feed me grapes.
“I thought I don’t miss Corrie for no one and I thought they’ll phone me back after. It was RuPaul’s bloody Drag Race! I just couldn’t believe it and I even missed the second episode of Corrie that night because I was over the moon!”
She also does a mean Deirdre Barlow impersonation. It's at 45 seconds in here.
