Alexandra Mardell, who plays Emma in Coronation Street, surely deserves all the awards for her portrayal in the storyline about Emma's dad's death. This week we'll see Steve comfort Emma and then of course, realise he could be Emma's real dad.
In real life, Alexandra has paid tribute to her own dad. She posted the picture of herself as a small child with her dad saying: "This one's for you Dad ❤️ So honoured I was given the chance to take on the story of Emma’s loss. This will always be one of the most meaningful stories to play for me. Something so important that I could truly relate to."
